European White Oak
Also known as English, French or German and so on and in the UK as Sessile Oak it is grown throughout Europe.
The timber is creamy white with darker streaks and a grain that is usually straight. It can be used extensively for many applications including classic and church furniture and fittings. Also great for external projects such as windows or doors and internal joinery, panelling, flooring and decorative carving. A highly versatile timber for a wide range of applications.
